CONTEXT

Primary energy requirements should grow by 25% over the next 20 years, despite the increased efficiency in generation systems and points of consumption. This growth should be based on an increase, each 2 years, of roughly 100 million people accessing new energy. Today's storage capacity for this energy is highly limited compared to the generation capacity, which is a challenge to overcome in order to continue meeting the demand.
